Florida

We are back in Florida, stopped at Seawolff to see how she is and all is well. Dusty but otherwise fine. Will go back in a week to clean her and put her in the water again.

At present we are in North Palm beach with Lynne and Mike on their Nordhavn, 'Time 2'. Last year they sold their catamaran, Indigo, and bought this magnificent monohull.

Its wonderful to be on the water again. Been shopping and got the favourite 'key lime pie'.

USA

We had a super time in Germany seeing all the family. Then took a train North to Dusseldorf to fly to NY. This is the second long train trip we have done here and the trains are fantastic!

So after an 8 hour flight and 90 min in customs (so slow) we arrived in USA. A few days in Connecticut and it snowed again! By lunch time it was all gone and everything is wet. I am ready for some WARM weather now.
We left NY at 6am today and it was 0C and snowing. Thankfully the road was good and we did not slide at all. Driving while its snowing is not great at all.
1050 km later, its 6pm and the temp is 30C! Heading down to Florida its now hot and we are half way there!!!
Cant wait to see Seawolff again....

Cakes

We have eaten so much cake, as we visit all family we are offered more delights. Its so wonderful. Here I am choosing a berry cheese cake in a Cafe. Of course there are also the tasty breads and cheese.

Family

We are here to see family and new additions, here Vanessa and Jan introduce us to little Emma

March 2011, Bernau im Schwarzwald

We are in the Blackforest area of Germany, 1415m high. This is the view from our B&B, of the ski slope. They are making snow to keep the slope open a bit longer. Wonderful area of big houses with huge roofs that come down close to the ground.
